Screen-Connections: ‘Super Friends: The Complete Collection’ Is Coming To Blu-ray & DVD This September From DC – Warner Bros

Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment and DC have revealed that they will release ‘Super Friends: The Complete Collection’ on Blu-ray and DVD this September.

The studio has provided the basic description below for the release; we’ll be sure to keep you updated with any additional details, artwork and pre-order information as it becomes available!

The greatest of the DC superheroes work together to uphold the good with the help of some young proteges. Produced by Hanna-Barbera, Super Friends is an animated TV series, featuring the Justice League of America, that ran from 1973 to 1985 on ABC as part the Saturday morning cartoon lineup.

The collection features 93 episodes of the animated television series and is remastered on Blu-ray disc for the first time!

Finally! I've purchased every DVD volume on (or near) the release dates, and will absolutely upgrade to this. I've been hoping for a comprehensive blu-ray collection since the dawn of the format.

Heh. These aren't animated at anywhere near 30fps. More like 10fps. Or less. So instead of 22 minutes episodes, to the compression algorithm, it probably looks more like 7m20s episodes with repeated frames.

Go for Pink Panther alongside the other DePate-Freleng stuff as well. Space Ghost and Dino Boy along with the 1977 Batman cartoon helps as well.

True. I'm buying that Batman just so I can make fun of BatMite, just like we used to on Saturday Morning. Wonder Twins were kinda ok, but BatMite.. I'd rather watch Sigmund and the Sea Monsters over BatMite.

It has everything from 1973 to 1986 I’m assuming.
