Default Medal of Honor - No More Games?

With the critical failure of Warfighter, EA has stated there won't be any more games in the series. Why don't they simply look at the Bad Company games and see what made them great as they're both about being part of a squad. By doing this, they could see what Bad Company had that the two recent Medal of Honor games didn't. For example:

- A polished game
- Humour among the characters
- Huge levels

Most important of all
- Freedom of choice (depending on the player, a level could take up to 2 hours to do).

EA has announced that Medal of Honor is no more.

It was destined to fail. the games had no polish and were just too rough around the edges.

They should go back to the WWII era. Or am I the only person left that still wants WWII games?

Make that three of us. I really enjoyed both Medal of Honor games.

Following on with the comments about the Bad Company games, I really wish they would do another one of those. I loved the characters' interaction with each other and humor. IMO Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is leaps and bounds better than the Battlefield series, no matter how pretty the Battlefield series may look.

Make that 4 of us. I really liked both games, the first one was a better mutliplayer IMO, but I guess it take more than 4 people to make a franchise last.

I didn't hate the recent MoH games, but to me they were just really solid $20 games. And for many people, they were placeholder shooter games for people to scratch the itch before battlefield/cod came out.

Also, if Battlefront takes its place, I'm fine. I prefer a solid Battlefront game over MoH.

MoH will become a distant memry when Battlefront lands

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the SP enough, but as others have said, they just need polishing.

MoH of old on the PS and PS2, now thats where they excelled, MoH rising sun anyone?

Rising Sun was where it went down the tubes IMO. Very mediocre.

I bought the first Medal of Honor on PS3 because it had Medal of Honor Frontline packed in which was when the series was still great, although Allied Assault is where the series was at its best.

Medal of Honor Airborne was one of my favorite shooters this gen. Thought the single player was pretty good in Medal of Honor but hated the multiplayer since it came out so close to Bad Company 2 that more D.I.C.E. multiplayer was lame. And have barely put any time into Warfighter so can't really comment. One of those games that keeps getting ignored due to other games coming out that take my attention away from catching up on the every growing backlog

I'd like to see some sorta comeback. Maybe this time, US has freakin laser beams against German paint balls.

I enjoyed Medal of Honor... I think I gots half way through SP. I heard it was a 6 hour game.. I spent 7 hours.

Thats the reason i bought the first medal of honor ps3 game. was hoping they would bundle rising sun with warfighter, but they didnt so i havent bothered getting it.

I did enjoy the first medal of honor though. The intense shootout while defending the shack with lots of enemies invading was a great moment, shame to see the series end.
