About friggin time, after 3 years of editing. When is the US release date?! I'm sure we'll never see his weird and experimental version that screened at Cannes though. Lame!

It has a release date of June 30th 2012 apparently... no idea if it will be kept though as it has been moved around so much

I had higher expectations about this movie because it was van dammes first directorial film but now it hasn't even got a release date the uk disappoint again.

I forgot about this movie, then I looked it up and saw that it was cancelled. My guess is that they are waiting to see if they can make a little bit more money on this film with a post "Expendable" Van Damme.

any update on a release for this? i know they were doing re-shoots but nothing is known, aside fro ma very nice looking trailor on facebook

I can't help thinking this will be awful if it does ever get released. So many delays that something must be going on behind the scenes and that can't be good news.

Just so you know, filming was done a couple of years ago, it just hasn't received a home video release. Probably due to low budget/finding a distributor.

The Eagle Path is now titled Soldiers. I wonder if this JCVD movie will ever see the light of day. Could the film be that bad? It is taking forever to be released!!! Now they change the kinda cool title to the generic "Soldiers".
