I bet Paramount and Toshiba are scratching their heads at this one. They should have had Transformers promote each others products because will all the marketing for SHrek and HD-DVD and this is as high as they go. Not good for them, but for blu-ray with the help of Disney/Pixar we are going full steam ahead.

So we're down to the Bourne Ultimatum as the last big HD DVD title for the year.

It's #113 with about a month to go - this one is likely to do very very well, but that's the Potter week so things could balance out. Will Blu Ray BOGO that week I wonder?

Still, damn shame it's exclusive... best blockbuster of the year.

Everytime i try to watch Bourne, i think of Matt Daemon in Team America. I can never, ever take him seriously after that movie.

Thank you! Finally some honest people. I can not take Ben or Matt seriously. They seem to ... I don't know.. weird? Who knows. Never was a fan of the Bourne series. First one was good, second one eh - ok. Third, I won't see unless it's free.

Do you like to read? If you do, pick up the books. Great books by a wonderful author, who unfortunately died a few years ago. His early books were very good.

As for Damon, I actually like him in general as an actor. He was good in quite a few movies; "Goodwill Hunting", "The Talented Mr. Ripley", "Courage Under Fire", etc.

I don't like all he does and he has quite a few stinkers as well, but several good roles he's played. Affleck on the other hand....

I like Bourne franchise and I wish it is in Blu-ray.... Just because they are not in blu-ray camp, it means it is bad actor or bad movies. I still consider it as an excellent movie. I don't buy much HD-DVD but I will get it. And if it later it released in blu-ray, I will replace it with blu-ray version...

And think about it, using the Kosty terminology. Every one of those 5th Element Blu-Ray discs sold is a NEW owner to the format! Looks like BD has more new owners then HDs top older title (Planet Earth).

Also, i wouldnt buy the Bournes without Lossless audio. Once uni is onboard in 08, i hope they dont BS around and do lossless on every single release regardless if it had it on HD DVD or not. If so, Uni will be tearing my wallet into shreds, i want a lot of those movies (Riddick, all 3 F&F, The Thing, Bournes, and a lot more) but only if they have lossless audio.

I agree, Matt just... CAN'T play an action part, it just seems to wrong.

and I still need to buy Rat on BD, haven't done that yet, soon tho, I hope.
