Default Vita Indie Game Recommendations

So I finally went out & got the Vita earlier today. It was the bundle with The Walking Dead. I have two 32GB Mem cards + a couple 4GB ones. Space ain't really an issue at the moment.

First, I must say wow! I now understand all the hype & why more than 50% of PS.Blog posters whine each week for free PS+ Vita games.
Second, I felt the timing is just right. Sony is planning to lighten the manufacturing costs by making new Vita Displays LCD on future models. (Grab them OLEDs while there still out!)
Third, I wanted to get more familiar with the Vita.. Graphics, Sound, Controls as I plan on using the Vita as a PS4 companion with Remote Play.

I am looking for any hidden gems you may have come across on the indie side. The ones that really stand out amongst others in your opinion? I've browsed the store a bit & notice quite a few $10 games. Also, what indie games coming out soon are you looking forward to owning on your Vita?

Any & all feedback much appreciated!!

Guacamelee and Sound Shapes are two great indie games that are also cross buy/save.

Hotline Miami is another indie game that has been getting rave reviews. I haven't bought it but, I plan to soon.

If you have Plus, there's a handful of Vita game in the instant game collection.

Hotline Miami is freaking amazing, although I played it on PC, but still play it on any version you can get. Love the Soundtrack in it.

I heard great things Guacamelee, even though I haven't played it.

Kyntt Underground is a very good "Metroidvania"-like Puzzle Platformer. I think it was free on PS+ before.

Liked:
Super Stardust
Guacamelee
Velocity Ultra
Jacob Jones
Jetpack Joyride
Treasures of Montezuma: Blitz
Mutant Blob attacks
Limbo

In the middle:
Hotline Miami
Cubix
Bullion Blitz
Men's room mayhem
Germinator
Sound Shapes

Disliked:
Zombie Tycoon
Chronovolt
Retro City Rampage
When Vikings Attack
Kyntt Underground

Those are just personal impressions. Some I thought I'd love the game but in practice it just didn't come together for me. (For example, Hotline Miami isn't bad, but Retro City turned me off - even though they are similar.)

Edit - also, here are some non-indie ones...
PS All Stars - a ton of fun even solo on Vita
Smart As - fun brain game
Dragon's Crown - my current addition
Persona 4 Golden - great RPG

Thanks guys!!!!

I am open to other suggestions but for this thread prefer *Digital Indie Games

I created 3 folders,

Am avoiding miniS & PSP Games.

*Retail Games (Uncharted, Killzone etc)
*Digital Retail Games (Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Gravity Rush etc)
*Digital Indie Games (Kyntt Underground, Machinarium etc)

Recommedations that look appealing to me..

*Guacamelee
*Hotline Miami (Not a fan of Retro City Rampage )
*Thomas was alone

Thanks to all & keep 'em coming!

I have tons of games on my Vita, so here are my personal highlights in terms of digital games:

Super Stardust Delta
This version of Stardust goes toe to toe with the PS3 version in terms of playability and enjoyability. Lots of modes, great graphics, no forced touch controls, great twin stick mechanics.

Plants vs. Zombies
Who can hate this game? It's fantastic. The only element that is flaky is in Endless mode in the later rounds, where the frame rate suffers with hundreds of objects on-screen, but otherwise the rest of the game is absolutely playable and identical to the other platform versions.

Guacamelee
Metroid as a Mexican luchadore! Easily one of the best games of the year on any platform, and the god-tier D-Pad of the Vita makes this version the best control-wise.

Hotline Miami
Super difficult retro game with a pulse pounding soundtrack. Highly recommended.

Stealth Inc.
Fantastic stealth platforming gameplay with pretty visuals and tight controls.

Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate
The best tower defense game with all of its bells and whistles, made portable.

Zen Pinball 2
The portable version of Zen Pinball is just as good as the home console versions, with solid controls and the signature space-twisting gameplay variants that each table brings, from Epic Quest's RPG mechanics to the multi-screen action of Fantastic Four.

Comments on other games:

Sina Mora
One of the prettiest shmups I've ever played, but the game has one truly awful level (trash compactor... I think it's level 4 or 5, can't recall) that is both not fun and monstrously difficult/random. If you can deal with that, the rest of the game is pretty neat, and it's a wonderful showcase for the Vita's graphics power.

Kickbeat
It's a challenging rhythm game set to modern music. If you like games like Rock Band, Amplitude, or Audiosurf, it's definitely worth checking out.

Motorstorm RC
Amazing little RC racing game for the low, low price of free.

You'll have to let us know which ones you like, love, and hate - be curious to see how your tastes compare to all of ours (and our suggestions).

Of course you required to like Guacamelee - you'd have to be dead inside to not like that one.

Oh definitely.

I haven't played enough of Guacamelee! to give a deep review or anything but I did play it for an hour or so & I really enjoy that game. I didn't think I would because I didn't know it had a catchy story to it. It also appears to be a nice full scale game looking at the map so I expect a lot of great content to showcase itself. No lack of interest that's for sure & I really appreciate all your guys recommendations!

Right now I gots 2 Mem cards. I plan on using 1 for indies & the other for retail.
