This is one of my most anticipated releases of the year, not only is the cast top notch but it received high praise from Sundance as well as lots of buzz out of it's recent special screening at Cannes. It has very similar vibes to Terrence Malick's Badlands, which is a huge plus in my book.

Also David Lowery is about to be a very big deal, with directing "Torso" and Disney's "Pete's Dragon".

found out about this movie a few days ago and got all excited, not just Mara and Affleck, but because of Ben Foster too! he's an excellent actor, can't wait to see this!
on the other hand, this poster just doesn't do it for me... the style reminds me of something between a painting (which isn't a bad thing) and a video game (which is a bad thing, cause I bet this movie won't have anything to do with console games)

Fantasy time: Since IFC and Criterion have a deal, it would be awesome to get this with his first films St. Nick and Pioneer, kind of like an anthology release. I know they did the same for Tiny Furniture, also an IFC title.

It's like the director was influenced from Badlands AND Malick's newer films. Badlands wasn't even filmed like the rest of his later films, so here we get To The Wonder with some action.
