4 Limited Edition BDs from Scorpion (Mortuary/Island Claws/Don't Answer Phone/Girly) - Blu-ray Forum

For a limited time starting on Monday, Sept. 22nd at 10am, and ending on Sept 30th at 10am, Diabolik DVD will be taking pre orders for the limited edition blu-ray releases of MORTUARY, GIRLY, ISLAND CLAWS, and DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. They will be offering them for a limited time and will begin shipping them out on Oct 7th. These will be pressed in the following quantities:

MORTUARY – 1200
GIRLY – 1000
ISLAND CLAWS – 1200
DON’T ANSWER THE PHONE – 1000

These are all first time on blu-ray and they will also be sold on Scorpion's own sale page at a later date, which is still being worked on. But since they are ready, I figured instead of having many fans wait until I have my store site up and running, it would be better to have Diabolik have them for sale in the meantime. My store site should be up and running on Oct 1st and then I will be able to take all future orders for the remaining quantities from then on.

If this method works out, I will be having Diabolik handle the initial pre-books of my other upcoming limited edition titles as well.

I'm assuming that Code Red is out of the picture since they are so haphazard on when the site will be up and running and with what. Bill rarely announces anything or when it will be for sale. Usually it just "appears" on big cartel with little to no fanfare.

Won't they be cheaper on Scorpion's site? I remember 22.95 price points on at least one of these. Not sure what shipping and handling is though.

IIRC, 3 of them were $22.95 and 1 was $24.95.

These are all on Blu-Ray for the first time. Scorpion Releasing will also have these for sale on their site once it is launched on or about October 1st, but decided to let us sell them first to get them out to customers ASAP. If this method works out, we will hopefully be working with Scorpion Releasing more in the future!
Items of note about this sale
1. There is a limit of 2 copies of each title per customer
2. We will be charging IN ADVANCE for these titles and anything ordered with them for any payment method including credit card.
3. The items are listed in stock only as a place holder for the 300 copies of each we will be selling

As excited as I am to nab these and glad to see them become available sooner through Diabolik as a temporary measure; it is a bummer to feel like I've got to be online at 9am CST to immediately place an order before a rush of sales. Set aside $100 for the 4; if I can make it in time.

I take it 'Girly' is the Freddie Francis movie 'Mumsy, Nanny, Sonny & Girly'.
Do Diabolik ship to the UK? This is one of my favourite movies so I definitely want this on Blu.
