Anyone pick this up yet? I'm hoping to find out if the packaging/slipcover is as pictured, and what extras it comes with:

Can't speak for the packaging, but according to Warner's Japanese site (http://www.whv.jp/database/database....d=dp&num=14427), the extras on the Blu-ray are identical to the American release reviewed here. As for the Amazon.co.jp bonus *DVD* (the original information entered on the site here was WRONG), it appears to be a 20-minute interview with the director and cast.

I was going to on CDJapan but it's 'out of stock'. From what I'm seeing and reading, it's like the Target Exclusive, but with better packaging and a 3D version.

Thank you both. Yeah, I kind of got the idea using Google translate to compare the feature list that it was similar - if not identical - to the Target disc. If I recall, some who got the latter were disappointed with that exclusive.

I ended up ordering the Czech version, believe it or not. It has similar packaging to the Japanese (with the slip box), but the extra disc is the soundtrack. The purchase link also has actual product photos, rather than just a mock-up:
