Excellent film, I hated the look of it from the trailer but I'm more than willing to hold my hands up and say I was wrong.
Great setting, wonderful performances, and the dinner scene has to be seen to be believed. I've got the US disc pre-ordered, can't wait another 2 months. |

To borrow your 'acting Olympics' analogy, it's only Roberts and Streep who 'go for gold' (see what I did).
Everyone else is really quite balanced. Like I said I used to see the trailer at the cinema and think 'oh god, no' but I'm so glad I went to see the film. Possibly my fave of the year so far. |

It's £13 everywhere or £10 for DVD. When I say everywhere, I mean Tesco (which only stock the DVD), ASDA (which only stock the DVD), HMV and sainsburys, regular release, no slipcover. I don't know prices online but I can bet they are very similar. Pretty good film but I can't justify paying that, I'll wait till it's in 5 for £30, if it ever is.
