When a group of rich 20-somethings plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game goes awry in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong.

The particular party party game in the trailer is suddenly very popular. Versions of it turned up in episodes of "Evil" and "Only Murders in the Building" in the same week. "Evil" called it "Killer" and "Murders" called it "Son of Sam".

I haven't watched this one yet but I can't help being reminded of Game of Death (2017) as there are at least some similarities. Anyone interested in Bodies Bodies Bodies should check out Game of Death. I had a blast with it.

The amount of paranoia that builds among the characters (the trailer only skims the surface) made this an engaging watch. The final "twist" had a you've-got-to-kidding-me reveal, I just had to laugh. Well played.

Knowing what the viewer knows by the end of the film could it be assumed that
[Show spoiler]Bee likely killed Emma? Emma's "murder" happened off-screen and if I recall it was deducted that she was pushed down the stairs. I don't know why Bee would do that, unlike Greg, where she had motivation to kill him.

[Show spoiler]Sophie tells Bee at the end that she saw Emma trip after taking the drugs.

This movie was an absolute blast to see in theaters. I had a great crowd that was really into it, which made it such a fun experience. It's such a simple concept for a film, that no doubt feels like a live-action version of Among Us in many regards, but it's damn near perfectly executed. Highly recommend checking this one while it's in theaters if you can

Happy about this, and also kind of surprised/confused about how A24 (and I guess Lionsgate) determines which of their movies get a physical 4K release

I left my screening completely ambivalent about it, but the more it sits with me, the more I like it. Definitely worth checking out.

Looks like the UK will only get a BD from Sony, no UHD.

Noticed that listing this morning, but didn't realize it was Sony distributing it in the UK.

Looking into it, it was Stage 6 Films, a subsidiary of Sony that acquired international rights (besides China). They've distributed a few other A24 films in the UK. though it looks like many of them have been HMV exclusives (e.g. Zola, Eighth Grade)

damn you Sony!
Due to the recession etc the pound has dropped value so now importing is eye watering for 4k releases.
I hope Germany or France release UHD so I can import for slightly less.

Saw this today and loved it!
This is much different for a A24 movie but glad they started to do more "mainstream" horror.
