Default V/h/s 2012

I'm trying to watch the original "V/H/S" movie on blu-ray. All is fine until we get to the menu screen and I have no options to select, pressing start doesn't work, ect. Meanwhile the menu background and whatever is running amuk so it's not that it's a totally bad disc, but how the hell do I get to thing, must less play the damn movie!?

Probably need to upgrade the firmware on your blu ray player. I had that problem with Dredd & In Time and upgrading the firmware fixed the problem. If that's not the solution, maybe somebody else can help?

If you're using a PS3 you need to delete your BD Data cache. This was a problem for a number of Magnolia BDs right around this timeframe. I believe they have since fixed the problem, as my cache is loaded and have watched quite a few Magnolia BDs.
There is actually a thread about it, and IIRC some one from Magnolia actually responded in that thread.

Also, sometimes there can be menu issues if you have your player set to 24fps output. Try turning that off, if it's an option on your player.
