Owing to this unique kind of Hammer horror story, I was surprised BD Forum never reviewed it. The production values were quite good for the times despite the fact that Hammer was on its last financial legs by then. Happily also the cast, especially the two leads, were superbly well chosen and assumed their roles and handled the plot twists masterfully.
Please consider doing a BD review. http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film6/blu-r...de_blu-ray.htm While that review was highly informative and clearly favored the Shout Factory edition, please take extra care to discern which edition had the better sound quality; best frequency response and especially the least amount of distortion. |
