Don't get too excited as far as blu-rays are concerned, I already tried like 6 different titles and NONE of them worked.

Seems like this will be best for Games, DVD's & CD's.

It includes DVDs as well, I believe. (That's what the mail said but I haven't added any to my cart so I can't say for certain).

It definitely excludes BDs though.

The Usual Suspects are gonna have a freaking field day with this one

It excludes all Blu-ray and all TV shows on DVD. So it's pretty much useless for video (though I did get a few games and CDs).

I knew something was up when I went to my wishlist and everything was still in stock and at the same prices they've been. Moved nearly 400.00 worth of BDs to my cart, added the code, and no discount. I guess BDs must sell too well to offer this kind of deal, even though for some of the titles, tv seasons especially, I was still hesitant to pay that much, considering they're used, likely won't include their slips and maybe some other pieces, and will likely drop that low, brand new, before the end of the year elsewhere. Thanks hasting for saving me a ton of money.

Yup, the banner is misleading. It says "movies" on the main page, but when you click on it, it takes you to another page where the banner says DVDs.

Also looks like PV games are excluded. Since 'used' games tend to be almost double the price of PV games, the deals there are pretty sparse too. At least on newer titles.

This sale seems really limited even on DVDs. I have 6 DVD items in my cart and it only applies to 2 of them. All are standard single disc movies except 1 three-movie set (which may be excluded as multi-disc?). Four are used and the discount is applied to 2 of the 4 used titles but none of the previously viewed stuff.

I am confused.

don't be confused. It's just a sh!tty sale.

Call it what it is, Hastings. It's not a 45th Anniversary Celebration, it's a clearance sale to get rid of the crap nobody wants.

I added some more DVDs to my cart and still most of them aren't discounting. It seems totally random. I am curious about how they tag things in their system to determine eligibility. Even limited to DVDs there could potentially be some great buys at 45% the used price if Hastings was to honor the advertised sale...

...If I really wanted to, I suppose I could place an order then call customer service and they would likely adjust the prices as a courtesy or I could cancel/return but it might not be worth the effort.
