Default 3D TV or 3D projector

Hi,

I want to know what's the best for 3D movies.

A 3D TV or a 3D projector?

I think that if you want to watch 3D movie, you need a big screen, because I don't think that you will have the same experience on a small television in front of you. So, you need a big 3D TV or a 3D projector...

What do you think is the best?

thx

I am a projector person. For normal TV watching, a TV is usually good enough since the quality is not all there in the source to start. But to have the big screen experience at home you need a projector. There is a thread about the new Samsung TV that is 110" but I (and most people with projectors) have been with a much larger screen for along time.

So IMHO if you want to watch movies at home (3D or not) you can't beat a projector.

not sure what you are asking.

Every projector has a throw distance depending on zoom capabilities and screen size that you want, the focus (if that is what you are asking) will depend on the projectors capabilities and the given throw distance. Some will have a smaller throw distance and others a longer ones (meant to be closer to the screen or farther).

screen size will also affect how bright/dim the picture will be (if that is what you mean by quality) the larger the image the dimmer it will be since the light is spread on a larger screen.

also for projectors , since it works by reflecting light off of a screen direct light (light aimed at the screen) will be a bigger factor than a TV (which is the about the only draw back I see over a TV, but even for a TV direct light is not recommended)
