Are they changing the digiPack for this release? Season one is now in a standard case.

I hope so. I wasn't a fan of the digipack packaging, mostly because EVERY copy at BB was all beat up.

Does anyone know if S1 is shipping from amazon in the standard case? I have S1 in my cart, but hesitant to pull the trigger. I don't want that cheap cardboard crap.

You'll probably just end up with flimsy plastic eco crap

Exactly why I didn't pick it up.

Still hoping season two isn't a digipack, hopefully we'll get a confirmation of this before release. I'm waiting before I pick up season one because I would like a matching collection.

Where did you get that version? I've purchased it twice, but I've yet to get that one.

I personally didn't get it but I have heard people who did and there are some images of it up on the amazon product page.

Most places aree probably still trying to sell off their inventory of the digipack.

I have the digipack. Bought it last year on Black Friday from BB. Don't really mind it.

USA WTF Best Buy?!!!! Lol

WOW!!! I mean I know Best Buy has been slowly over the past year diminishing its media section with the intention of no longer selling blurays or dvd's in the stores, but this is borderline self-sabotage if you ask me haha. The past month alone has been the worst I have seen their prices ever quite frankly. It's like they're not even trying to keep up with the competition anymore.

Next week's bluray release of "Grimm: Season 2" will be sold at Best Buy for $49.99 while Target will be selling it for $34.99 lol. I mean this is outrageous, it makes no sense either especially because they price match competitors and so if they are going to do that in the end why not just have the price be within range of the competitors to begin with so as to give consumers a choice of where they want to go. Having a $15 gap is quite large and will surely send customers elsewhere.

Anybody else notice this lately with Best Buy last 4 to 6 weeks regarding their prices on release day?....

Same thing as Arrow, it's not going to be $49.99. Their site doesn't update until Saturday night/Sunday morning. Their prices have been higher lately but still, there's no knowledge of what the price will be yet, but it's not going to be that.

The ad is available (not with visual images yet of course, those will arrive tomorrow) but according to media reviewers who have seen it already, the ads advertise that the prices are apparently listed and confirmed. Unless they somehow mark them down on signage in the stores themselves and disregard the printed ad prices. Guess we will find out tomorrow. But apparently those are the sale prices for "Arrow" and "Grimm." :-/

I couldn't find the season 1 amaray anywhere. Not even in the 24 hour or prime Best Buy locations in NYC. Hopefully they ship out some more season 1 amaray along with season 2.

btw anyone feel like season 2 took a nosedive at the end?

I don't think it did, I actually enjoyed most of it and I think it left the scope of the story open not to mention the world of "Grimm" is so vast now that season 3 should bring an awesome new tone. The one thing that sort of bothered me was the extended duration they had Nick's girlfriend/wife-to-be Julia (that is her name right lol) she was suffering for way too long in regards to the memory loss. They could have shortened that at least for my taste that's how I took it.

Never seen an amray case for the BD set before, only for DVD. I love the show and can't wait for season three. I am hoping my Wal-Mart/Vudu pre-order for season two ships soon so I get it before release date. Alexis Denisof from Angel is going to be joining the cast so I can't wait for that.

Where did you supposedly see this? It's hard for me to believe that they'd charge $15 more when Target and the first season were $35. I understand they've raised the prices lately but that seems ridiculous.

Yeah it is ridiculous!!! Here is the listing and price breakdown of where I did see these prices for the "Grimm: Season 2" set.

http://www.examiner.com/article/sept...alerts_article

I may not like it nor want to believe it, but each week Best Buy has increased their release day prices on TV series for new releases. Given this trend past month or so I sadly believe they may heinously charge this crazy amount. Lol

And if in the end it is less then fine I stand corrected but as of now I don't have much belief in this being false :-/
