Korean Film Review

A Dirty Carnival is a terrific gangster film noir on par with A Bittersweet Life. Jo In-seong gives best performance of his career as a late twenties mid level gangster who betrays and in turn betrayed.

Korean Blu-ray from CJ Entertainment is also terrific. The image is nice and sharp with great black level and contrast. There's only hint of DNR on certain shots. Audio is also great with nice use of the surrounds particularly during the frequent fight scenes.

Very highly recommended.
