Default Blu ray from Disney

Hi
What is up with the blu rays from Disney? It seems to me almost all of them have glitches in them. You return them to get a new one same thing. Call you Disney. To tell them about it and they tell you mail the blu-ray disc to us and we will mail you back a new one only to get it with the same glitches on it . WOW

Just hope a firmware update fixes it. Unless the disc is defective it's usually worth waiting to see if your manufacturer provides an update to fix the playback issue.

If you're worried a disc has a defect try it in a few different machines to see if they all have problems.

What are the issues, and what player are you using? (Like Chip75 said/implied it might just be a player firmware issue.)

On some of the scenes throughout the movie it will pause/freeze then it will be good for a while. Then it will do it again. I have Samung blu ray player model code is BD-E5700-ZA I called Samung and they told me my software version and firmware version are up to date. and they do not know when the next one will be.

sounds like a firmware issue. my buddies player does that while all 3 of my players can play the discs just fine. and samsung is NOT known for their quality blu-ray players. I'd test your discs in a different player somewhere and if they work fine there then I'd say you need a different player

Samsung is becoming notorious for having playback issues, especially with Disney titles. I have a Samsung player that basically doesn't play any newer Disney titles from the last few years... so I had to buy a Sony Blu-ray player.

Samsung is not very good about updating their older players as new discs come out.

He's referring to technical glitches, not screw-ups with the transfer.

All you can do is report the problem to Samsung. Even if they say they've done everything they can by providing the latest firmware they may eventually get around to it.

My Samsung BD player lost sound with every DVD I played on it as a movie went to the end credits, you could even see the receiver showing that it it did on it's display. A recent update after years of poor performance fixed it (I only updated the player when I brought it upstairs). I was quite surprised to say the least!

Here in the UK people are always shocked when I say Samsung have a bad reputation in the US. They're a top brand over here.
