Default $599 Lg 60PN5700 review

This tv is fantastic.....for the price. If I take the price out and just review the tv, it's got some quirks. The remote is not too responsive and clicks loudly. The loud clicking is something I mention due to this being my bedroom tv and can annoy a bed companion trying to sleep lol. My girlfriend agreed it was very loud. But anyway, you really have to point at the remote eye to get it to work well, which is on the lower left. It's a bit heavy but nothing all that bad. The vesa mounting is spaced pretty far apart and makes for very little vertical adjustment. Had to move my mount up to get the proper height. And the black levels.....oh the black levels. Pretty subpar, especially for a plasma. I may be spoiled by my Panasonic VT60 but I was expecting a bit more depth. That's it for the bad.

Now let's put the price back in and review. Incredible, awesome, blown away would be some words that come to mind. Black levels are pretty good and the color is fantastic. Ton's of adjustments and tweaks. Reads mkv files off my hard drive, which is something my Panasonic won't do. Super thin. Apps and web browsing are painful with the remote but is excellent with the phone app (free). This is the best deal I've ever seen for a brand new tv, except for the $1325 I paid for my vt60 due to a store mistake.
