Default Your Sister's Sister from IFC - Playback problems

I got a used copy of Your Sister's Sister from gohastings. I have an LG BD540 that I am trying to play it on, but when I put the disc in, it makes a very loud noise when it spins unlike other discs.

I thought it may just be bad disc, but I got another copy and it does the same thing. Does anyone else have trouble with this disc or could it just be my player, firmware, etc... ?

I checked my copy last night which was a used copy that I bought in 2012. I had no significant problems playing the disc through start to finish. The disc did pause for 10-15 seconds at one point but started back up on its own before I could get to the remote. I watched it on a 2nd generation Panasonic player that I rarely use. Good movie that rarely gets discussed anywhere. Thanks for reminding me it was time to give it another watch. If you had the same problems with 2 discs I would suggest trying the copy you still have on another player. Good luck!

Hi,

Apologies for the thread hijack!

I'm in the UK and after the US release of YOUR SISTER'S SISTER because (annoyingly) it's the only one that has the two audio commentaries.

I think the disk is probably region A locked but the review on here isn't clear about it so I thought I'd ask in the forum and see if anyone can confirm?

Thanks.

If you click on the "Region Coding" tab at the top of the review, there's a report from a member in Austria who confirmed "no playback" in Region B.
