This is potentially great news for fans of the series, and I have to wonder if the UK sets will continue the trend of surpassing the US sets by having on-disc extras.

Any info yet about pricing? If these are going to cost more than the US equivalents, I'll probably just pick up them instead.

When they're down to about £18-£20 each I'll have the lot.

If you've got some spare cash:

The most recent of the books, Double Dexter, is the best since the second, well worth a read.

I for one am really glad to hear that. I was actually thinking I would have to import from the US! I haven't watched the show yet. I'm thinking of diving into it with the blu.

Sorry to bring a thread back from the dead! :-)

Does anyone know what may be going on with the UK releases of Dexter seasons 3 and 8 on Blu-ray? I'm thinking of buying the series after watching it on Netflix a few years ago, but can't find both of these seasons anywhere! I don't want to invest in the other seasons if I can't get them all.

I've asked Amazon and Zoom in particular if they may get more stock, but they have said they won't be. Why would the manufacturers stop producing discs?

FYI, I'd get the US set if it wasn't region locked...
