Terrible artwork. Maybe it's just me, but from a distance, it looks like both Scully and Mulder are sucking on something...

£17.99 at Sainsburys

I dread to think how much Entertainment Store would charge for this. Probably about £35-£40. Rip off merchants that they are.

These catalogue releases are never new tranfers, although this will be the first time Fight the Future will be available in the UK (no reason to think it won't use the same transfer as Fox used elsewhere. No complaints if so, it's a fantastic transfer).

This is very tempting - I have the UK edition of I Want to Believe and the French version of Fight the Future but I'm a big fan of The X-Files (and I put a scanned US cover in my French blu-ray so it's not perfect). I'll probably be sensible and stick with my original discs but I wish this had been out before I imported FTF, I'd have been all over it.

This is why people accuse you of being a troll - because you raise points like this everywhere, whether it belongs or not, just to rouse people up.

Unless you work for the company then it shouldn't bother you one bit.

Your "anyone who cares must work for the company" argument that you've become so keen on is absolutely laughable. I'm sure you realise hollow and false an equation that is (and if you really do believe it then you're either very young or very naive).

It doesn't bother me that you're having a go at them per se. But take it to the threads about the company. Don't try derailing this one, it has nothing to do with your current vendetta against them. That's what bothers me and that's what's so trolling - threads where ES have nothing to do with it and you post with your usual "Hey, Entertainment Store? What a bunch of rip-off merchants, eh?"

According to a thread in the US section it's been worked upon and we should start seeing releases by the end of the year. I can't wait.

EDIT: Here's the thread

I admire your hatred of Entertainment Store, but if you could keep it to threads relevant to them that would be great. And no, I don't work for them and nor have I ever bought anything from them. Not just because of the prices, but they've never stocked anything I've wanted.

On topic, I enjoyed both the X-Files movies, but I can't say I'm too interested in buying them now (steelbook or otherwise). Maybe if it stays in stock long enough for a hefty price reduction...

Great news! I don't own them in blu ray, so I guess the timing is perfect. The cover art could have been better, but it's alright the way it is.
