PlayStation 3 and Gran Turismo 4 - Blu-ray Forum

Can the CECHA/Bxx PlayStation 3 run Gran Turismo 4 in 1080i? Gran Turismo 4 was one of very few PlayStation 2 games that rendered in 1080i on the PS2. Now that's a decent resolution even for today but it was a crazy resolution back in 2004 when Gran Turismo 4 was made!

I do remember playing GT4 on a PS3 60GB I had (wish I hadn't now) and it looked beautiful (it said on the TV something about 1080-ish). Furthermore, it recognized the analog triggers so it allowed me to play Gran Turismo 4 like a modern day racing simulator.

I don't deny that YLOD was an issue on Launch PS3 models, but seems to have been over-exaggerated as many still work perfectly fine.
