Default Raggedy Ann and Andy:A Musical Adventure Blu ray

I want some company to get the licenses to that movie from Fox(or soon to be Disney) to release it on blu ray. It deserves a blu ray release as it is a pretty surreal and visually impressive film. Reasons why i want some other company then fox(soon to be Disney) would do it,and companies like olive flims, shout factory, and criterion do a better job taking care of the flim.

Actually, CBS owns the right to this film.

I saw the title and thought this was actually happening. Nuts. This was a pretty messed-up film. Very surreal. I still remember seeing it when it aired. Really creepy animation. I'd be stunned if this ever gets a release. It never even got a DVD release.

Another one I'd really love to see remastered is Hansel & Gretel: An Opera Fantasy (1954):

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0193995/

A stunning stop-motion film telling the classic Humperdinck opera tale of Hansel and Gretel. They used to air this one on TV ages ago but it's long been forgotten. It did get a DVD release way back but it was a dreadful DVD - I own it. It looks like it came from a very poor quality VHS tape. The sound is atrocious and the video is even worse. It's a shame because it really deserves to be treated to a remaster and a proper release. I fear this one will be lost if not taken care of soon.

Man, I used to watch this movie all the time when I was a kid. Hadn't seen it for years and years until I happened to remember it one day and looked for clips on Youtube. As a kid I never realized how trippy it was but watching scenes from it again as an adult, damn it is trippy as hell. Haha! Would be curious to sit down and watch it again, though.

I remember this as the very first movie that I saw in theaters and I think I remember the theater I went to where it ran. The "Blue" sequence with the blue and glittery background still sticks out in my mind.

Yeah, I'm a grown-@ss man, but I'm not gonna lie...I'd like to see a Raggedy Ann and Andy animation Blu-Ray with not one, but all of their animated holiday tv specials.

Raggedy Ann and Andy : A Musical Adventure
Raggedy Ann and Andy : The Pumpkin that Couldn't Smile
Raggedy Ann and Andy : The Great Santa Claus Caper

I personally like the Pumpkin that Couldn't Smile and have a dvd of it that I watch now and then around Halloween season.

I'm a sucker for old Halloween specials, what can I say?

I believe there are fan efforts to release a full 4K restoration from an original release print, which is something I'm very much looking forward to

it's such a shame that this film has been pretty much abandoned to time

BAM apparently did a screening of a restored print - but the listing makes no denotion if it was 35mm or DCP back in 2017:

I never realized that someone had put up the full movie on YouTube in it's original 2.35 aspect ratio - something I would have assumed been cropped on the VHS edition.

I'm old, I remember seeing this movie way back in 1977 in the theater, my sister and I played the vinyl movie soundtrack to death.

I don't remember any of them, might have seen at least one of them a very long time ago.
