So , along with my 5 speakers , i have a jamo 8'' subwoofer. Im running all my speakers at small setting with one crossover at 80hz. My room is 4.3m x 4.6 m and open sided on one side. The sub is placed in the front left corner. At half gain volume i barely feel any bass , but when i turned it at 3/4 , the bass feeling was pretty good for this small sub.
So my question is this ... we all know that if we set the gain knob volume on the back of the sub at its max , it starts to rumble and bass will not stay smooth anymore. Can i turn it at full knob volume and move my seating position forward until the bass is good and smooth ? So i try to avoid my back wall as i possibly can . |
