Who here got it or is getting it? I loved the demo i tired in store. I hate soccer. But this is such a fun game to play

Picked up a copy this week at target. It's the closest thing to hockey I have I guess kinda sorta.

If NHL 14 came to PS4...i would be drooling. Favorite sports game by far...they dropped the ball big time. But i know what you mean

I'll be getting it. I've owned ever FIFA since the first one on Sega in the early 90's. Its the only game franchise I have bought every edition of.

My local GAME had this set up on their PS4 demo kiosk and I thought it looked CRAP!. Seriously. I mean it didn't look like anything PS3 couldn't do and that's quite telling

I mean, I hate sports games anyhow, but my friend loves them and he kept trying to tell me it must be the fact it's a demo and not retail but given its EA and all the chatter of how sloppy and disgusting their ports are, it wouldn't surprise me if it is retail. He's getting a free upgrade on his FIFA so he's not bothered.

You are seriously the first person I have heard say this. Could it have just been GAME's set-up?

All the reviews say the PS4 version is definitely better looking.

I have played a bit, it's nice.

At target they had this game set-up for PS4 on a 32 inch. Kinda surprised it didn't look that bad.

I don't know if it was because honestly the TV was a Sony set and setting of the picture looked fine for the bright lit environment. The visuals just looked crap. I even tried to look for those 'next gen' pointers but honestly saw nothing that made me go 'nice'. Instead, it was a disappointment. I'd rather they have put killzone on but as I said before, a generic crappy yearly game that has no story mode to spoil might have been what they were aiming for.

Like I said, I got no love for sports games but i'm not being subjective about the visuals. If a sports game looks good i'd be up front and say 'nice graphics but not my cup of tea'. I just hope i'll be more impressed with AC IV and killzone and the other titles, but I have tempered my expectations after the hands-on post Mavrick gave.

Sports games enthusiasts should check out NBA 2k14 even if you're not into basketball. Definitely the best sports game on the PS4. Beautiful graphics and terrific gameplay.

I have just been reading some Amazon reviews saying the next-gen versions of this game doesn't have offline 2 player mode. Surely that can't be right?

Can anyone confirm or deny this for me, as I was planning on having friends round on Friday and playing this with them. But if there is no 2 player mode, I'll just cancel my order.

FIFA14 is fun but it doesn't look mind-blowing like NBA2k14. IGN was right. The changes are more subtle. Graphics wise it's not a big step up.

I'm going to my mates after we pick up our consoles and first thing i'm gonna get him to do is slap on FIFA to see whether it looks the same as the demo unit I played. And then promptly switch it off for another game

From what I've read I don't think graphics were improved much! What they did improve on was ball control, player animations etc. So I think you should expect it to handle a lot better than the PS3 version, what I've heard anyway?!

I played the demo at Frys yesterday and was really impressed. Had not picked up a fifa game in years. This is on my list for black friday now.
