Unfortunately this a Shout select title, which means only available from them or secondary sellers like amazon and ebay. I'm sure someone could order you one and ship it to ya if you trust them, although that could get kinda expensive too. Shout won't ship free here, and I'm not sure how postage rates to the NL are. Good luck.

That seller on Amazon btw is essentially the Shout Factory storefront.

There is an increasing number of companies that serve as re-delivery services to non-US customers - items get sent to them and they send them to the Netherlands (in your case), Australia (in my case), etc. for a stated fee. I'm still looking into them for the best possible deal so I don't have a recommendation to give yet, but it might be worth considering? (postage is still nasty if it's only one item rather than a bunch in a box, however)

I got this delivered to me in the UK!! I bought mine from http://www.bluraysforeveryone.com - a guy called Cliff runs the site and he has some pretty rare stuff (best buy exclusives, target and futureshop stuff). It cost me about $45 inc shipping but the more you buy the more the shipping cost becomes reasonable. I hope that helps!!

The cinema cult release of this disc in Australia is currently $11.98 from JBhifi(20% off sale ends Sunday night) the disc will be region B not sure if its locked.

Someone in the Australia thread tested it and it was able to be played on region A players.
Thanks for the heads up on jbl sale,will pick up splash as its a region free title there too

Glad I checked this thread, regarding the Australian Blu-ray release. Is the transfer the same as the US Blu-ray release, or better, and does it have any extras?

Old question, but I'll answer it since I just picked it up and searched for the same answer.

According to the review over on the Digital Retribution site, the Australian Cinema Cult release is a direct port of the US release, meaning it's from the same source ... so yes, its exactly the same.

It includes both versions of the film: It plays the uncut version when you hit the play button. You have to access the cut (theatrical) version via the extras menu. Only other extra is the trailer.

ESC's forthcoming blu of Abel Ferrara's Fear City will use a new master (release April 9th)

New master. UNCUT european version, 100% in HD. Region free, and removable subtitles.

I will be happy to get rid of another Shout blu.

Do you know if ESC will ship to customer's in the US by chance? I couldn't find any English option on the site.

It is also listed on Amazon.fr, so I may try them as well. I order from Germany and the UK Amazons quite often but not the French one so far.
