Default PS4 Harmony Remote Compatibility

Has there been any word on the PS4 working with existing Harmony remotes?

I'm assuming, since the PS4 has Bluetooth, remotes should work just like they did with the PS3. Harmony users will either have to connect their current adapter to the PS4 or buy an additional adapter to be able to control both consoles.

How soon will Harmony have an update to include the PS4 in its database, or will the existing PS3 controls work on the PS4?

You are probably in for a wait.

Harmony (Logitect) is probably in no rush to release another hub. The hub shouldn't have to be connected USB 3.0 cuz of backward compatibility with the spec. They may make an all new remote with 2.1 blu toothy for PS4 Chances of Sony beating them to the punch is high.

The new Blue spec is why the current remote won't work.

I'm currently using Logitech's "Hub" with my PS3 which works perfectly. I would think it should also work with the PS4 but will know for sure next Friday. I'll repost as soon as I get mine.

The hub is apparently meant to be PS4 compatible.

If they port it, I sincerely hope they deal with the delay issue. Very frustrating when it hasn't been used in a few minutes, and you have to press a few times to get it to move.

Though, I don't have the super expensive Harmony remote & adapter.

That would be nice.

Really Harmony should just include the latest spec into their newest/next line of remotes with the built in IR on the remote like Sony's latest PS3 one.

by "hub" do you mean the adapter that will allow you to use your harmony one remote, etc... with the PS3?
