Do you add your upcoming Blu-rays to your collection before you receive them

Do you guys add your upcoming Blu-ray's to your Blu-ray.com collection page or Filmaf page before you receive them like Amazon just shipped a package to you of them or you knew you were going to be given the Blu-ray title for a Birthday or Christmas present like a week before or do you wait until you receive them.

I have a folder called On Order and I add them to that when I order or pre-order them. When I actually receive the movie, I'll add it to my owned folder. Now that I own a 3DTV, I have a seperate folder for 3D titles.

It's funny but this is one of the few things I'm superstitious about. I won't add BDs to my collection or remove them from other wishlists until I receive the order.

Nope don't count them as part of my collection until they arrive... I put them in the following folders..

Either:

Pre-ordered / Not dispatched
Ordered / Dispatched

This is what I do...

1. Order/pre-order
2. Put order confirmation e-mail in ORDERS e-mail folder
3. Order ships
4. Delete order e-mail in ORDERS e-mail folder
5. Put shipment confirmation e-mail in ORDERS e-mail folder
6. Order arrives
7. Verify shipment contents with shipment confirmation e-mail
8. Once contents are verified and unwrapped/inspected, delete shipment confirmation e-mail
9. Place order contents on media rack next to equipment (not on my collection shelves)
10. Watch one of the unwatched Blu-rays from previous orders
11. Add the title to my collection listing once I know it functions without flaw.
12. Repeat 11 & 12 until all Blu-rays have moved from media rack to collection shelves.

So, to answer your question in summary... not until I watch them.

Once I have bought them yes but not if they are pre-ordered as I may change my mind,I wait until they have been dispatched in that case.

Yes, I add them at the same time I order them to my collection, if I am sure not to change or cancel the order. This I do because then it eliminates the risk of forgetting to add them in my collection spreadsheet.

Anything I order online gets added after I receive an email that it has shipped....A lot of times I end up changing my mind and I'll cancel an order.....

I use "ordered" for placing and move them to "owned" when they arrive

There's a section called "Ordered" already on the site as a default category. I add them there as soon as I submit an order.
