I was actually considering this, even though I already have the complete collection, didn't pick up the digibook.

Then I saw the artwork.... thank heaven, such an easy pass.

The steelbook looks crap but I am all for a remastered version,I love Rocky.

I find it amusing that one of my first posts on this site was a small complaint about how the first pressing looked and got quite a few replies basically stating that it is supposed to look like that and it will never be any better!

This is great news. France is getting a Digibook of this and the listing states that the new master is from a 4k source, so hopefully this is going to look fantastic. That said, i'm not sure the artwork does the film justice. Fox seem to be the worst when it comes to Steelbook artwork.

I wondered why the Rocky boxset was getting released. Have they all been re-mastered, or just the first one?

I always wanted the DVD Definitive Edition version on steelbook. It seemed to be the only one in that range that had an amaray only release

That steelbook is horrendous, I will definitely get this remastered release as Rocky looks the roughest out of all of the films in the boxset.

It seems now MGM have some cash they are revisiting a lot of their crap early BDs with new 4k remasters of Rocky and Robocop (although not seen that announced for UK) coming.

Hopefully will see other films like Usual Suspects as that BD is also poor.

Yep. Looks like the computerized version of him from Rocky Balboa. With so many great scenes, you'd think they could've just picked one from the movie for the cover.
Because Rocky is such a classic film, this actually annoys me. I really hope there's an alternate cover for the U.S. because it really deserves the remaster but not that insipid cover.
