Question Choose a film you would like to watch in a theater?

Which silver screen gem would you like to appear again on the big screen?

saw original star wars a few years back at the Cinesphere in Toronto, would love to see them again there.

Quote:
Cinesphere is the world's first permanent IMAX movie theatre, built in 1971. Its design is of a triodetic-domed structure, akin to a Geodesic Dome, similar to that of the later Spaceship Earth, the icon of Walt Disney World's Epcot theme park. The theatre is located on the grounds of Ontario Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
It was just upgraded to support 3D Imax, would love to see avatar there in 3D.

I would say Jaws, but that happened last year at the local drive in. So, all of the Japanese Godzilla films. Only one I saw theatrically was Godzilla 2000 back in 2000.

An Arthouse Cinema in Leicester near where I live were showing '2001: A Space Odyssey' and I really wanted to go to see that, I even planned to. The disaster struck and I had no way off actually getting to the theatre.

To this day I am waiting for somewhere to show that masterpiece film.

Abel Gance's Napoleon - the only film (I think) to be shot in 4.00:1 aspect ratio. Luckily, it's screening for the first time in over 30 years at the San Fran Silent Film Fest next March, but not sure if I'll be able to make it.

I'd really love to see some of the films I grew up watching, that were made before I was born. I saw so many of the earlier Disney animated classics on VHS as a kid, like "Cinderella", "Peter Pan", "The Jungle Book", "101 Dalmatians", "Alice in Wonderland", etc.

I'd also like to see some live-action stuff, like "Mary Poppins", "The Sound of Music", or "The Wizard of Oz". Some of the films that came out when I was very young would be cool too, like "Short Circuit", "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids", "Back to the Future", and "Home Alone".

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World in a Cinerama theater.

I've been really disappointed that I missed Casino Royale (2006) at the theater. It'd be nice if a theater chain would issue a "Daniel Craig as Bond" triple feature when the new Bond comes out.

I have to say if I'm being honest that as much as I love seeing movies on the "big screen" ;.....my own home theater at 20ft away my 120" screen is massive.

I really would prefer to watch almost ANY movie at home, with my laz y boy's, beer, pause button, better sound and better picture than any theater around here.

It really takes something special for me to break out $$$, plus put up with cell phones, talking, eating, annoying kids and smart ass teens etc to get me to an actual theater.

I honestly believe that movie theaters in the traditional sense are going to be extinct soon...especially with how great home theaters are getting and how common.

I see the future as PPV downloads streaming of new releases in HD replacing nights out to the movies in the very near future.

2. Gladiator
3. The Ten Commandments
4. The Godfather Trilogy
5. Finding Nemo

For movies I would gladly pay to see again

2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I and II (as one movie)
3. Star Wars Episode I-VI
4. Avatar: Extended Edition
5. Batman Begins/The Dark Knight followed by TDKR midnight release

I think that Star Wars and Indiana Jones should always be playing in a theater somewhere in town.
