Default Do these codes actually expire?

Hi I'm new to this whole Blu-ray and digital version thing so sorry if this is a dumb question. For whatever reason I can't find a decent answer and am totally lost.
Do UV codes ever expire? I just tried to check if my code for Crazy, Stupid, Love worked (says it expired Nov 1, 2013) and it got redeemed without a confirmation. Judging by that experience, they don't expire but my Drive UV code says it expires 2 days from now so I want to be sure. Do I need to sell this thing immediately or am I safe to wait a while? Thanks in advance

Yes they can and do expire - it depends upon the studio and/or movie rights etc...or possibly if someone is just having a bad day

Seriously though, some codes redeem long after their expiration dates but other codes have expired. Some studios are nice enough to replace an expired non-redeeming code with new valid codes and other simply will not (looking at you SONY!).

The expiration issue is why so many of the 'expired' codes in the Buy, Sell, Trade forum are sold on the honor basis.
