Would be ecstatic to see this on blu ray. Since Cube is on blu ray, I can see this one being released sometime in the next year. Hopefully! Hearing that tragic gothic theme tune at a high bitrate DTS encode, and seeing Katherine Isabelle in 1080p would be sweet.

I actually wrote to the company a few weeks about releasing the trilogy but haven't had a response. Would be awesome.

Don't really care for the rest of the trilogy, but I would give a gorilla a hand job if Arrow announced this (and if the gorilla promised not to look at me).

pmsl, well, rather you giving the gorilla the hand job than the other way round, if you know what I mean.

I don't care much for the rest of the trilogy too. Part 2 was just OK and i've only seen bits and bobs of part 3, didn't really take to it. But having the original would be wonderful. I've yet to see it in decent quality.

You mean, the diabolically naff 2007 film TEETH, about the girl with "vagina dentata", starring Jess Weixler and John Hensley? God, no. It's a hideously rubbish film, with a great concept, but horrible execution.

Really hate that Scream Factory region lock all their releases. But going by habits, now that the Scream Factory are confirmed to release this in 2014, perhaps Arrow will see that as a kick up the arse and put together this release themselves??????????????????????

I promised myself to never get a region free blu ray player because I wanted to support British companies solely. But looks like this may be the final nail in the coffin for me.

Well, you heard the man! It would be nice if the mods could edit the title of this thread into 'The Official Ginger Snaps Blu Ray petition thread'. I am not fussed for the sequels, just the first masterful one.

Like our man at the Arrow office MichaelB said, if Ginger Snaps is to be released here in the UK then my own voice simply isn't enough, we will need at least a couple of thousand different people expressing their desire for this film to be released on blu ray. Obviously there are no guarantees, but if you are a fan of the film or simply wouldn't mind contributing to this petition, then simply post 'Ginger Snaps' on this thread and perhaps MichaelB can get his colleagues to start talking...
