Polanski’s The Palace is being written by Jerzy Skolimowski (director of Golden Bear winner Le départ and Deep End) and is about a hotel in Switzerland on New Year’s Eve 1999, blending stories of guests and staff. It is being produced by Italy’s Eliseo Entertainment, which co-produced Polanski’s last film, An Officer And A Spy, with Rai Cinema. No further details have yet been revealed. [+]

Mia has always supported Polanski. She also supported her own brother, who lived around her children with her, who is a multi-offense, convicted pedophile and registered sex offender.

She has always defended and supported Polanski, as well.

There is no question as to Polanski and her brother's guilt, either.

Yet, she's always had everyone going after Allen, where there has never been any evidence. To the contrary, there is a good bit of evidence that she's full of it about Allen.

She's such a hypocrite. Al Pacino thinks she's the most hypocritical, two faced, backstabber ever.

She does all this work to help children in war torn African countries, then you hear the authorities there gifted her 'blood diamonds'. Ugh... she's a wretch.

I've liked her as an actress in a good bit of stuff. But I think she's a despicable person.

Allen says she was still gonna make a planned film with him AFTER she's accused him of molesting her young daughter. He told her to get lost. This would either mean she knew she was lying and he was innocent, or it would mean that she's REALLY despicable.

I agree, although I have to be honest here: I never cared for his films prior to learning about his "issues". Always felt they were tad a over-rated & a few were just bad, IMO. I never got the hype around his films.

Interesting. Cleese has never done a straight drama from what I can recall. Maybe Polanski can get something different from him.
