As a longtime fan of the series, I should hate these movies and yes, there's a lot wrong with them. But despite all its problems, I still surprisingly enjoyed the first film for what it was and consider it a guilty pleasure. And I went to see this one today and also quite enjoyed it, even more than the first in fact. I will likely be in the minority, but I'll be sure to pick this up.

I just have to say I really like how Walmart's doing in-store preorders. Instead of an empty case they have the original dvd, movie money for the second, and the preorder. Second, I hate these types of movies with the talking animal reboot, but I did enjoy the smurfs. Maybe because it was Neil Patrick Harris

I wonder if the Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D releases of The Smurfs 2 will have the film presented in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio like the first film? I know for a fact the Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D releases of the first film presented it in 1.78:1 instead of 1.85:1; will be they be doing the same thing with the sequel? Or will it be left in 1.85:1 like Arthur Christmas and Hotel Transylvania?

Does anyone know if The Legend of Smurfy Hollow will come on a separate disc? I read on its Bluray page that The Smurfs 2 is a 2 disc set. But does anyone know if the mini movie will be a 3rd disc? Or just an extra on the Bluray?

Just watched this and wow, was there even a plot?

It made me laugh a few times but not as good as the first. I'll pass on the blu.

The back cover doesn't list a music video but maybe it will be part of the second screen feature.
