I could care less who they come from, whether it be Disney themselves or Mill Creek as I've been happy with their output, but Disney owns a TON of live action titles that had either full frame or non-anamorphic dvd releases.
Heck I'd even take a Mill Creek 3 pack as long as it is 16:9..even a dvd if 16:9. Their 3 packs finally allowed me to get some of the lesser tier titles in 16:9 like Summer of Sam, Terminal Velocity and Deep Rising. The titles on my wishlist are Six Days Seven Nights Metro Kundun Scarlet Letter Encino Man Son in Law Powder Shadow Conspiracy 3 Ninjas The Three Musketeers Super Mario Bros the Movie Eddie Honey I shrunk the Kids trilogy Three Men and A Baby/ Three Men and a Little Lady Dead Presidents What's funny is that HD masters exist for a lot of these as they have played in HD on various channels and formats...just no 16:9 dvd or blu. Hopefully Disney keeps farming out these titles as that is probably the only chance we have at getting them out. |
