Default Another Blu-Ray BOGO Sale (for Canada, dunno about US)

Check it out in Futureshop's latest flyer:

http://www.futureshop.ca/marketing/w...gon=&langid=EN

Look on page 34

Seems to be the same BOGO deal that Buena Vista had during Transformers week. To counter Shrek perhaps? (Not that I think we really need to, but I'm not complaining)

Saw this in the hot deals forum. I'm happy about it I may pick up another couple of titles this weekend. Apparently HMV is having a similar sale as well.

I think it may be more to stimulate sales in Canada then compete with Shrek or any other movie. If Buena Vista wanted to beat sales numbers again, they'd do the sale in the US again since the market is much much bigger.

Amazon shafted UK buyers with theri BOGO offer. They put the full value of both disc's on the invoice making it liable for tax and handling charges. This doubled the cost of two disc's to $60 - hardly a bargain.
Getting refunds is a nightmare, so I'm rejecting the delivery and going to get try getting a refund from Amazon.

Those in the US can still buy from Future Shop BOGO in Canada can't they? The numbers for Canada and US are combined for North American sales numbers that Nielsen puts out, right?

It looks like Disney titles again. I wish that there was Sony or FOX to choose from, since I wnet nuts on those titles, during the last BOGO sale. I'll just check them out, just in case tomorrow.

I wish there were more titles available for the BOGO, but any BOGO is a good thing. I'd like to know what 20 titles are included.

FOR EVERYONE WHO IS WONDERING WHAT MOVIES QUALIFY FOR THE BOGO:
http://www.futureshop.ca/marketing/s...gon=&langid=EN

Futureshop has a link to all the movies that qualify for the BOGO sale, it's pretty much the same as the one during Transformer week.

I already made my purchase... I got

- Apocalypto
- The Prestige
- Both Pirate of the Carribean movies.

hey guys I just thought Id let you know that www.jr.com has some absolutely insane prices ($13-$16 per title) on blurays right now.

I purchased my sound system from them, and I recommend them highly. There is a massive selection to choose from.

Havent checked how much shipping would be but if you buy a lot then it should be very low per movie.

Also there is a thread specifically about this as well

I might pick up the pirates movies... I am not a HUGE fan, but for BOGO I think they are worth it.

I'm still waiting for the Masters of Horror Volumes to go on one of these BOGO sales, it'd be great, even a Buy Get one Half off. Cuz to get the entire season is insane
