So.....no IMAX or 3D?
Too bad, they could have made a giga-set, with everything, at least try to see if anyone would bite

So it’s $550 and they still decide to leave out the IMAX versions? Wtf Disney?!

Way too expensive. If this was Universal, it would be $250 tops. I guess there will be no Phase 3 set for those that purchased the other two Phase sets.

$550 and absolute no changes or benefits to the movies in the set, no IMAX ratios, no nothin', and most likely in Sleeves which will flush that money down the damn drain.

Hell. No.

Am I missing something? How is it price gouging to sell 23 UHD releases for $24 a piece? And that's not even factoring the premium packaging, and exclusive extras. It should also go without saying that the price will undoubtedly drop.

Can all UHD's included be bought right now at retailers for significantly less than this? I know people see the high price, and freak out, but it's 23 movies in UHD, the price is not really that crazy at all.

Doing a rough calculation, it would cost about $660 or so to buy all 23 movies on Amazon right now.

Best Buy exclusive so price might not drop without downward pressure from Amazon, Walmart, etc.

That so-called "premium" packaging looks like it's cheaper for Disney and Best Buy to manufacture, warehouse and ship than individual Amaray plastic cases.

No digital copy. These movies are $20 HD and $25 for UHD on digital platforms and rarely go on sale. You can usually sell Disney/Marvel UHD codes here for $8-10. That's $160 value or more missing depending on how you look at it.

Probably doesn't include bonus discs that came with individual movies, either.

Recent Target B2G1 sale, 4K+BD+Digital was $20 per movie. Hulk and Homecoming are regularly cheaper than that and so will FFH by Black Friday at the latest. I expect BF pricing to match the $20 Target sale or be lower.

I believe Disney Movie Club also nets you the solo 4Ks for much less than retail. Anyone know the math for DMC new sign up then get VIP then buy the 20 Marvel movies (or whatever's remaining after meeting the commitments) with discount?

If you don't care about digital, importing 4K+Blu-ray from Amazon UK is also cheaper. Amazon UK includes 20% VAT in their published prices so after conversion, you usually just pay the published price in USD. The UK has 3-movie sets for Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America and Thor that end up being just ~$40-42 per set ($14/movie) and shipping's pretty cheap.
