Default Terminator Episode: Awesomee!!

Hey guys, I was just re-watching 'Self-Made Man' and wow, it's a really awesome bit of fiction! To be honest, it's one of my favourite television episodes ever!

I just wanted to know if anyone could recommend another TV show with a similar story? Something involving time travel?

Yes we've seen it. It's just that there isn't really anything to add to this 'discussion'..

I've never personally given two craps about it, but Doctor Who involves time travel and seems to be insanely popular everywhere except my own home. And the good news is that there's a hilariously huge amount of content to choose from on DVD and Blu-ray.

A lot of Star Trek stuff involves time travel as well. Two of the best pieces of classic Trek, the episode City on the Edge of Forever and the movie Star Trek IV take place mostly in their past, which is our present.

I liked the first season of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, but I didn't care for the second season and dumped it before I ever saw that episode.

But in terms of just wanting another show to watch that's centered around time travel, there's always Quantum Leap. Which, IMO, was so good that it's ruined me and I often can't even get into other time travel-centric shows. The early episodes can be a bit rough, and the final episode raises more questions than it provides answers, but in between it's a really solid, enjoyable show.

Fringe. Although, I don't if it's as much time travel as it is
[Show spoiler]alternate universes

You might want to try CONTINUUM, it's also a time travel show: an officer from the future gets sent back to our present. I've only seen the first season it's a great show.

Several episodes Star Trek: TNG -Yesterday's Enterprise (awesome), Time's Arrow I & II (not bad), Cause & Effect (very ground hog's day), and the series finale All Good Things (should have been the TNG movie).

Star Trek: DS9 - Far Beyond the Stars (among the best episodes of any star trek), Trials & Tribbleations (DS9 meets original Star Trek Forrest Gump style) & a few more episode titles I can't recall.

As Cocheese04 said above there are many time travel Trek episodes.

There was a show from the 90's called Time Trax (can't remember if it was any good).

Babylon 5 had three very good episodes focusing on time travel Babylon Squared, and War Without End parts I & II.

I'm sure the effects probably look a little on the dated side now, but it was pretty good. I forgot about that one. Didn't think it was available, but just looked and saw both seasons have been released through Warner Archive.

FBTS is a great episode but isn't really a time travel story as such. Children of Time is a simple yet fantastic episode. Past Tense and Visionary are also quite good. One of the overarching stories of the series, Sisko as Emissary, also involves time travel.

Yes, Continuum is the way to go...very smart...very well written. There r three seasons available on disk or for stream. The fourth and final season will be shot in 2015.

Personally, I liked the way that Lost handled time travel, although only the fifth season really deals heavily with it.

Also, the season 4 episode, The Constant, is time-travel-centric, and is often hailed as one of the best episodes of the series.

I somehow completely forgot another killer episode of Deep Space Nine: ''The Visitor'' (shame on me).

If you're willing to watch anime, Steins; Gate is exactly what you're looking for.
