Final Fantasy Type-0 HD - Includes FF XV Demo - Blu-ray Forum

Sony has announced that it is bringing Final Fantasy Type-0 to North America and Europe, with a full HD makeover for the PS4 and Xbox One. The game originally released on the PSP in 2011 as a Japanese only title, so this will be the first time those in the west will be easily able to get their hands on it.

The story of the game follows a group of 12 people that make up Class Zero, students who know magic. They become embroiled in a war against the Empire, and try to push it back from their own nation. There’s not much more details on when we can expect the title to reach our shores, but it’s happening.

Wow, was not expecting this. Will pick up on day 1 for sure. Any word on if it's digital only or do we get a physical release?

Square is quick on the HD remakes.... That is about the only thing they are quick at these days.

There is a physical copy up on Amazon but they also had a physical copy of Transistor up after last year's E3.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on March 17, 2015 in North America and March 20 in Europe, according to a pulled Game Informer report.

Rumor has it that a demo of XV will be included with the game

Well, if this is our first shot at Final Fantasy XV, I guess I'd better pick this up then, though hopefully the final release of XV won't be too much later.

I'm hoping for a Fall 2015 release. Maybe even a Summer 2015 if we're lucky.

Type 0 HD releases on March 17th 2015 (19th in Japan), how do you figure that FF XV will release the same month as the demo coming along which is there to have our first glimpse at it...
