GREETINGS!!!!!!!!
I have a Pioneer BDP-120 blu-ray player and would like to install the latest firmware, by downloading and installing a file from their website. However, when I put the .MVP file onto my flash drive, and then plug it into my blu-ray player, I receive an error message starting with "There is more than one software file," and the blu-ray player refuses to find and use the firmware. But I checked: There are no other files on the flash drive. I have gotten firmware updates in the past to work, by going all the way to the UNIX command level and force-removing even the invisible files. I have also tried multiple formats for the flash drive itself. None of these tricks seem to be working this time. What's going on? How do I just get this to work? |
