They've already commissioned the guy who wrote the last three to work on the (supposed) final movie:

Chris Morgan, who wrote Wanted, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast and Furious and Fast Five in addition to the currently in production 47 Ronin starring Keanu Reeves, just signed a first-look-deal with Universal that’ll keep him writing and developing ideas at the studio for at least two years.

One of the first projects he’ll tackle is Fast and Furious 6, yet another sequel in the successful crime and car franchise. He’s also been rumored to be developing a Terminator movie with his Fast and Furious director Justin Lin as well as the cartoon adaptation Bakugan. Good news indeed. Not surprising, but good news. I hope it is the final in the series as well, don't want them to drag it on too long. Now, the question is...can they top Fast Five?

Do you mean...by making a better movie or by coming up with a crappier name?

Very true.

I'm guessing, and hoping, that this is the one that will take place AFTER Tokyo Drift so it doesn't seem as much like the red headed step child in the series.

That's a matter of opinion I guess. Because I think the serious has been fantastic so far, and apparetly Fast Five is the best of the movies so far. So that says to me they haven't dragged it on too long.

The title keeps getting shorter. Fastest. Furiousest?

Still holding out for Furious 666, set after Tokyo Drift but they can bring Han back because Satan is using his driving skills to lead the end of days. And only two drivers can stop the apocalypse!

i hate the Fast and The Furious movies but
i like Tokyo Drift, the others i found boring and cheesy
plus i hate Paul Walker

but this new one looks watchable mainly because The Rock kicks ass

i hope paul Walker is barely in it and it just focuses of Vin Diesel and The Rock
