New tactics, new Sony PS3 ads - Blu-ray Forum

I don't know about others but I'm so happy that Sony finally got the message about advertising. The PS3 ads are really really good, and they mixed in a Spidee Blu-ray message just to show that the machine is not just a game console. I've always said that the PS3 would play a key role in ending this stupid war and win out over HDDVD. Now if they can just Playstion Home running they can really put it to Microsoft.

But I wouldn't be too tough on our new members. As indeed the new PS3 ads are sometimes numbingly overwhelming.

i know im just a stickler for people who spell like

They are starting to far outweigh someone that actually has something positive to say around here..the death by a thousand cuts kind of approach we have been seeing.

i know and i feel bad for doing it especially since it's a new member. i know i wasn't haggled when i first came here. sorry. just take time because some people won't take you seriously if you type it all screwy (look at me.. i type ok and people still don't take me seriously...lol

What's really funny is that I thought this post was about something else. There was a troll (now that he's been banned, I think it's safe to say that) that concocted a whole story about how he went to BB and bought a Sony BDP-S1 and it wouldn't work, blah blah blah, it all ended with him getting the competition's player instead. Sadly, he was able to make it to the punchline over the past few days before being banned. I hope at this point they've erased the thread altogether {edit: I looked for it, it's gone, thankfully}, but we need to be on the lookout for this latest "tactic" to dis' Blu-ray.

(I'm a huge stickler for punctuation and spelling in my own work, as I work in publishing nowadays -- but I wouldn't wish my own personal OCD on anyone.)
