Need Opinion On Games - Blu-ray Forum

Alright guys, I could use some help here. My wife is buying me a PS4 on Friday (yay) and I want three games for it: Battlefield, Killzone and Knack. Am I making a mistake with those games? Do they suck? Are they awesome? Any suggestions on other games to get? I have an Xbox One and on it I have Forza, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed and NBA 2K14. Any and all opinions would be appreciated! Thanks!

If you don't have PlayStation Plus, I'd make sure to save $50 for that first.

Seeing as you have some good stuff already on Xbox One, I think those are excellent choices for PS4.

I've got Killzone and BF4 on the PS4 and both are great choices if you like shooters. Don't know about Knack, but I hear good things.

Sweet thanks guys....of course I have PS Plus! I can't wait to get Contrast and Resogun for free!

Battlefield 4 is a definite buy. The game is pretty gorgeous and the multiplayer is a blast.

Killzone is a beautiful looking game that shows an early glimpse of the console's power, and it IS powerful, but the game lacks a bit in the gameplay if you ask me. If you want to see the best looking PS4 game available now, go for it, but don't expect a whole lot more than that.

Haven't played Knack, but some variety can't hurt. I would have suggested Assassin's Creed IV but you have that already. I'll also mention LEGO Marvel as being a really fun game, one that both my wife and I have enjoyed.

Ozzsoad, thank you so much. Assassin's Creed is awesome but I own it on 360 and One so won't triple dip. I don't like Ubisoft that much to help them out hehe. Lego Marvel just got on my radar today when my friend bought it and uploaded some videos to show me (i'm obsessed with spiderman). I'm definitely getting that one, too! Killzone I don't expect a whole lot from, same with Knack. But, I'll try them as they're exclusives and games that Sony chose to represent the new generation. BF4 I played on 360 and had a blast, minus the water looking like mercury. I trust next gen to have fixed that and when I get my PS4 next week, I'm sure I'll have an absolute blast! Thanks again!
