Default Box Office Showdown! | 2/21-2/23 | 3 Days To Kill, Pompeii

Low key week. I've seen A LOT of promos for 3 Days to Kill though. Could The LEGO Movie get #1 for the third week in a row?

I think 'The Lego Movie' will land the triple.

Paranoia was just not marketed well, I bet there's people who still don't know it came out. I probably would've seen it myself if the previews had been more...promising.

The movies she's in flopping are certainly not due to her though. She just needs a better project that more people would be interested in.

LEGO easily wins again. Pompeii is going to tank, hard. Haven't even seen a poster at my theater and I think I've seen one TV spot. Still gonna see it, though.

woah...you don't have much hope for Pompeii. I think it looks quite good and the PG-13 rating should help it. I'm still guessing Lego Movie will pull a 3 week win but Pompeii at #2 by maybe 20 million.

No chance. "Frozen" had the holidays, plus zero competition for 2 months. "The Lego Movie" will lose theaters on 3/7 to "Mr. Peabody and Sherman" and "300: Rise of an Empire." It'll finish around 265-270, but no more than that.
