Hey I could'nt find the new release of Spinter anywhere, But found a rental copy at Block Buster, We watched it tonight , Not half bad, had some really good jump sene's in it. The PQ was really good, But where it stood out was the Audio . this had som much deep bass., and the surround channels were so alive . Great for testing the speakers out. We really enjoyed it alot.

cool cool.. definately will be picking this up sometime soon. saw the film on HDnet during its festival run and really liked it. we were pissed that we didn't know it was filmed in our own backyard hahaaa right in oklahoma.

I've read 2 great reviews of this already-- said it was a great old
fashioned style monster movie (with updated gore of course)--

might have to buy this blind...

Had to order it from Amazon on Tuesday, Best Buy, FYE, Target - none of them got in even one copy.

yes the film is only 1 hour and 22 minutes

I saw this on Sci Fi (or should that be SyFy) about a month ago. Even though they claimed it was a Sci Fi Original, I knew it had been around a while and was even offered On Demand in HD. I really liked it, but I don't know if I would buy it. I might if it is fairly inexpensive.

hey nothing wrong with that. I think for many horror flicks a short runtime is the best way to go...before they lose momentum.

From the cover and description this movie looked like a joke, but considering all the praise in this thread it looks like i should check it out

Yeah, watched my rental last night and it was surprisingly good. Surround sound was ridiculous.

yeah I thought it was a good horror film.....it had some of the usual "why would you do that!!!" moments but thats what makes horror films so great.

I watched this movie before and really liked it. For an independent horror movie it was great fun. Definitely worth at least a rental.

Just finished watching it and thought it was really good. It looks/sounds good also and grain-haters will like it since it was shot digitally.

Went to Best Buy today and they said they don't cary it in stores

So I just bought it tonight on eBay. Good to hear about the PQ and AQ, though! I'm really excited to test this one out!

Strong marks for PQ & AQ in my book, and the flick was a heck of a lot of fun. The 82 minute runtime is just right. Horror fans should get a kick out of this movie...

Being from Oklahoma I had to give this title a shot.

I bought it at my local PX for under $20 with no tax.

I liked it. Suspenseful

, creepy

, and a tad gory

. Just be careful of those dark backwood roads in Oklahoma.

Dollar for dollar a good value.
