Looks pretty fun, seems similar to the original Buffy The Vampire Slayer movie (with Kristy Swanson). I'll give it a chance.

It's a mess, but it's an enjoyable, high-energy, subversive mess with some enthusiastic performances. For a film that's a remake of a no-budget movie the writer-directors made over a decade ago, it feels oddly underdeveloped and tossed off. Maybe that's part of its charm.

Not sure if the Blu is a buy for me, but I definitely wanna give this one another watch.

I surprisingly enjoyed this. It was different and fun. And that ending was insane.

I hope the current $18.99 pre-order Amazon price drops lower because the DVD is currently $9.99 and that's too much of a difference.

It's a very fun, well put-together movie. Horror fans that like a satirical edge and campy humor in their scares will love it.

The Blu-ray actually gets an extended featurette interviewing the actresses in their cheerleader costumes.

Just finished watching this and thought it was pretty dumb, but a lot of fun.

My only gripe is that the cheerleaders should've kicked way more ass. The way the film sets it up, I was basically rooting for them to
[Show spoiler]completely wreck shop and obliterate every one of those guys. The fact that the lead douchebag killed off most of them was a huge thorn in my side.

Still, it was a good slice of silly entertainment.

Also, could this song (that plays when the girls strut through the hallway) be any cooler?

This is streaming on Netflix in case anyone is interested. Of course I bought it before I realized this, haha.

I feel for you. Maybe for the first time ever, I had this pre-ordered as a blind buy, totally against my better judgment. Last week I has this strange feeling come over me that told me Netlfix would have it very soon and I needed to cancel...and I finally caught a break and saved some money.

And people wonder why physical media is dying and most stores have downsized their media sections...

With that said, I had a blast with this film. Well worth checking out for those on the fence. It's Bring it On meets the Craft meets Return of the living Dead. One of the better films I've watched in some time.

Don't think a person with over 600 BD's should be faulted for helping in the death of physical media

Not to speak for them, but for me it's like that money could of went towards something else I wanted, since I could of watched Cheerleaders for free. And if the movie was awesome, picked it up later, hopefully cheaper.

It's all a moot point I guess since I also enjoyed the movie quite a bit Lucky McKee hasn't disappointed me yet. Now if we can just get May on blu-ray~

This is $13.99 at FYE. Lowest price I've seen at any B&M store.

Screw it. I'm dead tired, and out of alcohol, but I'm gonna check this out on Netflix in a few minutes. If I dig it (as much as I think I might) I'll pick up the Blu.

See y'all in an hour-and-a-half.

ETA: HOLY EFFIN' CRAP! That was freakin' awesome! See, if you're going to make some twisted low-budget horror flick with a good deal of humor, THAT is how you do it! Loved it.

Definitely buying this on Blu. Must have.
