The PS3 feature I'd like to see . . . - Blu-ray Forum

I'd love for my PS3 to be able to capture a screen shot while playing a BLU movie.

Then I could create a photo album or wallpaper from my favorite movie moments with ease.

Honestly, I can't believe the functionality isn't there. It was 2007 last I checked.

Oh well.

That would be pretty nice feature to add the the Triangle menu on the PS3 with all the icons. Sometimes it is hard to pause a movie and get a focused picture though. Does the PS3 have an option to move ahead by frames?

That would be very cool! theres lots of cool things they could do its almost endless!

I think we are in for a nice treat with the next filmware or two.

I really want to be able to access XMB friends list in game. Its a real pain trying to msg people right now.

Yeah, having it for games would be a really nice touch. I love taking screenshots on the PC and not having that capability is one thing I really miss when playing a game on a console. There was a rumor a while back saying it was being added to the PS3 but it never happened. Guess it was just wishful thinking.

ill specify and say i want to access xmb in-game, in-movie, in everything. the photo feature yall are talking about sounds cool too

DTS HD MA!!!! Surprised no real official comment regarding PS3's ability to pass/process this. I'd really like to get a definitive answer either way!. OH yeah and some kind of auto restart memory.

... Not remote play, but full PS3 XMB navigation on PSP screen. Use as an ordinary remote so you can play music on PS3, show track listings, arrange DLs etc etc etc. without switching on the TV.

Hey Sony, you forgot to include an LED display on the front of the PS3 so here's a great way to make it up.

I can't wait for the 3D feature to be implemented on the PS3 from Mitsubishi. Just think...playing MGS4, Uncharted, Killzone 2, Tekken 6, SoulCalibur, etc in 3D!

In game music (the option to play my own music - love this for driving games)

And I really want every game to have an in game leveler for brightness. Some games are too dark and I want to brighten them - but I don't want to change the settings on my T.V., I just want to change the games settings.

I'm on the PS3...can't cut and paste. Google "Mitsubishi 3D Blu-ray gaming console". That should do it.

I'd like to see a clock in one of the corners at the home screen. I think the bottom right corner would be good for that.

Plus having XMB during games will be added in the future. It might come in the 2.0 update. That would cover the messaging during game and the in-game music needs.

a clock would be nice, and DIVX/xvid/mkv support that really pissed me off when i found out it didnt support it.

I hate how you can't do anything else when playing an MP3 file... I want to be able to browse the list of other songs and browse the internet or PS store while listening to my music.... It's kind of annoying that you can't do that. Oh, and make a playlist and such.
