![]() ![]() For those interested, this German documentary on Russian wildlife is indeed English-friendly, possibly the only one of Polyband's non-English-produced documentaries to have English narration included. The set also includes German subtitles only, and a 45 minute Making of with only German audio. The presentation is 1080/50i, however. Interestingly, the English narration is not that of Patterson Joseph, who voiced the US airing on National Geographic, nor is it Jason Hildebrandt, who provided American-accented narration for a re-edited version on Animal Planet in the US. Indeed, the English narration is provided by an older, English narrator, who has been identified online as one "Clifford Wells", for whom no information exists that I can find. |
