Default Calibrating Plasmas

Can anyone suggest a colorimeter and software for me to use which is not hugely expensive? Basically the cheapest which would have good results, despite obviously not the best. I see calman software is a couple hundred bucks just for the software and I see a few colorimeters around a couple hundred, also, but I don't know what can get good enough results to be worth doing it myself.

And if the colorimeter can't measure down at least to normal kuro elite black level it's a waste because part of me wanting to get this is I can't find a calibrator willing to simply measure my black level with no actual calibrating for little to no cost as I try to find out just how bad my black level is. I can't even find any calibrators PERIOD, other than online ones not from my area. And one of them started ignoring me and basically both of them were going to charge me hundreds to even evaluate, without calibrating. Then D-nice was going to charges as much as a whole new tv to calibrate, as he said I would have to pay for his plane ticket, rental car, hotel, and calibration cost and he never answers me as to whether or not he'll ever be in this area on a tour.
