Just picked this up this evening, but won't have time to throw at it for a while. Picked up Tomb Raider also, and that takes priority, but I'll get to this soon.

I don't know of whether to get this or wait and get Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3: Full Burst. Both have their perks which is why I am thinking of purchasing both versions that way I could play the regular version and also have fun with the exclusive contenet on the newer game.

Why buy both. Only diffence is Full Bust includes the DLC. No point to waste the money.

Really? According to GameStop site it comes with the following:

Quote:
FULL BURST EXCLUSIVE CONTENT...

•Additional Chapter - Finally free of Kabuto's control, Itachi intends to crack the Reanimation forbidden technique. Will an unprecedented Uchiha alliance with Sasuke be enough to handle it?
•New Playable Character - Kabuto reaches the almighty Sage mode and is now playable in versus mode. Unleash his power and defeat your opponents both offline and online.
•Director's Cut - Discover completely revamped Storm 3 cinematics and experience the epic conflict consuming the entire ninja world more intensely than ever.
•100 New Missions - Embark on a whole new series of missions, many with their own uniquely challenging objectives.
•38 Additional Costumes - Outfit characters in a selection of 38 costumes from the NARUTO SHIPPUDEN Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 DLC packs.
Also, I saw the if you pre-order it, like KH 1.5 Remix it comes with a artbook. I don't know if that means anything to anybody but being an art fanatic I would LOVE to have this.

I mentioned before I am just thinking on it right now. Nothing has been decided. The game doesn't come out until 12/31/13 (according to GS website) so we will just have to wait and see what happens. However, your right though buying both would be a waste of money.

Full Burst is the DLC pack that will be on the disc or on the PSN for those that have the game now. So you dont have to wait if you dont want. You wont miss anything.

Thank you for the help. I appreciate it.

I have a question though: In order to download stuff do you have to be hooked into PSN? Because I don't have an internet connection with my PS3 system.

Well the costumes are the same, but everything else is new.

As for the 12/31/2013 date, that's just a placeholder date that's saying Gamestop does not know when the game is coming out, but you can pre-order the game anyways.

It's weird it says on GameStop's site that the game is set to release 12/31/13 but Amazon has it listed to come out 11/30/13. Which is the real date I wonder???

Neither. Like I said, companies make placeholder dates when they have no idea when the game will be out. Though having it released in November is realistic, but definitely not on the 30th.

Earlier in the year, Namco Bandai announced Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, an updated version of Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 with new features and more.

This morning, the publisher announced that the game is slated for release on October 22nd “throughout the Americas”. Additionally, the PC version of the game on Steam is slated for release this fall as well, but doesn’t have a date assigned to it yet.

If you pre-order the retail Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 versions of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, you’ll also receive an exclusive art book from Studio Pierrot, the anime studio in charge of producing the Naruto animated series.

Note that you don’t necessarily have to buy Full Burst at retail—if you already own Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, you’ll be able to grab Full Burst as a paid downloadable update. Prices will be announced at a later date, Namco say.

Wow, I didn't hear about the Full Burst edition. I was just waiting for the regular edition to go down in price a little. Glad I didn't pick it up yet. I will definitely pick up the Full Burst edition. And probably pre-order it to get the artbook too (can't wait any longer for this to go down in price). This sounds awesome.

I've seen the original go on sale for $10 less or maybe even $20 less than when it 1st came out. But here you get the game, DLC, plus other stuff.

What would you recommend to someone who doesn't have an internet connect with their PS3 system? Would it be better to get the regular Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 or get the Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst?

The only reason that I thought of getting both versions was because it would be cool to play the regular Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 and then play the "Director's Cut" of the Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 and compare the two and see which one was the better version.

Well just depends on how badly you want to play the Director's Cut or not unless you want to use the original as some kind of like expensive demo to later play the Director's Cut.
